Full Moon Review
Release
Modern practice. Written for this library. No historical source is claimed.
What this is
The counterpart to the New Moon intention: at the Full Moon, look back over what has happened and choose a few things to put down.
Method
- Reread the paper you wrote at the New Moon. Note, in a line or two, what moved and what did not.
- List up to three things you want to stop carrying: a habit, a worry, an overdue task. One per scrap of paper.
- Tear each scrap and drop the pieces into a bowl of water. Pour the water onto soil outdoors, or down a drain.
- Decide one thing you will do about each, even if the decision is 'nothing'.
- Write a single line about what you are glad of from the last two weeks.
Materials
- Last month's intention paper
- Scrap paper and a pen
- A bowl of water
Timing
- Moon: Full Moon
Full Moon is a moment, but the evening before and after read as full to the eye.
