The One-Card Check-In
Reflection
Modern practice. Written for this library. No historical source is claimed.
What this is
A daily habit using one card from the draw tool, treated as a prompt for your own thinking rather than a prediction.
Method
- Use the card draw tool for a single card, or draw one from a physical deck.
- Write what you see: the figures, the colors, what is happening.
- Read the card's page in the library for its upright or reversed meaning and its sources.
- Write one sentence on what the card asks of you today, and one small thing you will do about it.
- At night, add a line on what happened.
Materials
- The tarot draw tool or a deck
- A notebook
Context
A modern practice written for this library. Treat any reading as reflection, not prediction, and not a basis for medical, legal or financial decisions.
Tradition, history and personal practice. Not medicine, and not a substitute for professional care.
