What the Golden Dawn actually taught
Book T reads: “dissatisfaction, voluntary change — as opposed to Death; error, lying, falsity, deception.” This completes the Death/Moon pairing (involuntary versus voluntary change), and is starker than RWS — lying and deception read as active failings, not dreamlike uncertainty.
Imagery & symbolism
A pale moon hangs above two towers, its face lined with worry. A dog and a wolf howl at it from the shore, while a crayfish emerges from the water below, crawling toward a path that vanishes into the distant hills.
Numerology
18 reduces to 9 — a cycle nearing completion, still clouded by illusion.
