Origin: Central North America
Growing Notes: Full sun, well-drained soil, drought-tolerant once established, attracts pollinators.
Traditionally used at the onset of seasonal wellness challenges, for short-term use.
Steep 1-2 tsp dried root/flower, covered, 8-10 min; traditionally used short-term rather than continuously.
Dosage: Tea: 1-2 tsp dried herb per cup, short courses.
Not recommended for long-term daily use without breaks; consult a healthcare provider if you have an autoimmune condition or take immunosuppressant medication. Avoid if allergic to ragweed/daisy family.
