Origin: Southern Europe & Mediterranean
Growing Notes: Full sun, average soil, reseeds readily, blooms most of the growing season.
Traditionally used topically for skin comfort and internally as a mild tonic.
Steep 1-2 tsp dried petals, covered, 5-8 min; or infuse in oil for topical salve base.
Dosage: Tea: 1-2 tsp dried petals per cup.
Generally recognized as safe in culinary/traditional tea amounts. Consult a healthcare provider before use during pregnancy or nursing, before giving to children, or if taking prescription medication. Avoid if allergic to ragweed/daisy family.
