Contains natural salicylates, chemically related to aspirin. Avoid if allergic or sensitive to aspirin/salicylates. Not recommended for children or teenagers, particularly during a viral illness, due to a theoretical Reye's syndrome risk associated with salicylate compounds. Avoid during pregnancy and nursing. May increase bleeding risk — avoid before surgery or if taking blood-thinning medication, and consult a healthcare provider if on any regular medication.
